The Las Vegas Blick store will be participating in the Ethel’s Chocolate 16th Annual Holiday Cactus Lighting Event on Tuesday, November 17, 2009. The event will be held from 5-8pm at the Botanical Cactus Garden next to Ethel’s Chocolate Factory in Henderson, NV. The official lighting countdown is expected to take place around 6pm. Hosted by comedian George Wallace, the Cactus Lighting will also include performances by Zowie Bowie and Michael Grimm.

Recycling company TerraCycle will be present at the event. Guests may bring in one candy wrapper as a donation to TerraCycle and receive a free ticket to the Cactus Lighting (limit eight per family). Wrappers will be “upcycled” in the production of new eco-friendly items.

Other activities include a painting area where artists of all ages and ability will have the chance to decorate their own square of canvas during the event. Stop by and say hello to staff from the Las Vegas Blick store, who will be on hand for this festive occasion!
