Painting by Marcia Fox

Marcia Fox will have her work on display through February 15, 2010 in the Galesburg, IL Blick Art Materials store. Although Ms. Fox has been interested in art from an early age and took a number of art classes during her college years, it was not until her children were grown that she returned to her love of painting.

Living in central Illinois, she is inspired by the area’s landscape and seasons, as well as the rich colors of nature. The artist is a member of the Left Bank Art League (Moline, IL), the Illinois Art League (Peoria, IL), and the Galesburg Civic Art Center. She continues to participate in workshops and classes to develop her technique and also enjoys painting with friends.
