Blick’s Lincoln Park store was a sponsor of the Milwaukee Avenue Arts Festival, held
The competition featured 18 contestants, 16 of whom finished in time to have their pieces judged. Entrants were judged based on how well their artwork captured the spirit of the Milwaukee Avenue Arts Festival.

The three-day festival included live music, various art events and exhibits, as well as local vendors. Over 120 Chicago area artists participated in more than 20 exhibitions open to the public. Activities were staged along Milwaukee Avenue between California and Ridgeway.
