Artists use Blick pastels to create their artwork at the 2009 Pasadena Chalk Festival.

Hundreds of artists gathered this past weekend, June 20-21, 2009, at the annual Pasadena Chalk Festival. They created stunning works of art on walkways throughout Paseo Colorado.

More than 100,000 individuals were expected to visit the event this year. The Blick store in Pasadena, CA, a regular sponsor of the festival, provided pastel chalk sets and an award donation.
