On September 30th over 300 employees and volunteers participated in Blick’s 2nd annual charity walk at Lake Storey in Galesburg, Illinois. Participants from our Central Office and two warehouse facilities collected over $11,000 which the company matched. The event was comprised of two distances for walkers either 11/2 miles or 4 miles along the bike path, followed by lunch.
Over $20,000 will be evenly distributed between five local charities: FISH Food Pantry, Knox County Humane Society/Prairieland Animal Welfare Center, Guardian Angel Animal Shelter, Safe Harbor and Galesburg Rescue Mission.
Don’t forget to stop by your nearest Blick store tomorrow, September 24th, for Blick Madness! Enjoy music, giveaways, and a variety of product demos. Each store will also hold a drawing for a 72-count Studio Set of Prismacolor Premier Double-EndedMarkers – over a $300 value!

Blick Art Materials is a proud sponsor of the Galesburg Civic Art Center’s annual Art in the Park event. Join us for Art in the Park 2009 this weekend!
The juried art fair will be held on Saturday, September 12th from 9am-4pm in Standish Park, Galesburg, Illinois. Visit over 40 artist booths and enjoy food, drink, and live music throughout the day. Art activities will also be available for kids.
