Our Holiday Demos start the weekend of November 28th and 29th! Mark your calendars and be sure to stop into your local Blick store to take part in these festive and FREE interactive events. Spread holiday cheer with handmade greeting cards or deck the halls with mini canvas ornaments. All demos are scheduled for 2-5pm on the dates listed below.

Blick retail locations* will host special Halloween-themed Blick-or-Treat activities Saturday, October 24th and Sunday, October 25th. Join the fun by participating in face painting demos and a scary mini canvas painting contest. Activities are scheduled from 2-5pm both days.

If you are an artist in the Roswell, Georgia area, submit your artwork for the Roswell Blick store’s “Tape Up Show.” A maximum of two pieces will be accepted from each artist. Each piece should have a business card attached as identification. Artwork may be priced to sell, but all works must be priced at $100 or less. Artists must handle any sales independently off-site and are solely responsible for all transactions.
Drop off your work on Thursday, October 15, 2009 from 4-7pm. An opening reception will be held on Friday, October 16th from 6-8pm. All artwork will remain on display through the weekend of October 17th-18th, with pickup taking place on Sunday evening.

The Roswell, Georgia Blick store will host an unforgettable art experience with Mobile Masterpieces during the weekend of October 24th & 25th. Don’t miss this FREE event!
Dates and Times:
- Saturday, October 24th, 11am-3pm (Children)
- Sunday, October 25th, 12:30-4:30pm (Teens and Adults)
Children ages 7 and up may participate on Saturday. The event on Sunday is for participants age 15 to Adult. Children will paint “Energy,” and adults will paint “Poppy Trio.” View the paintings on the Mobile Masterpiece website at www.mobilemasterpiecesinc.com.
Each artist will paint his or her own 16” x 20” canvas to take home. Mobile Masterpieces will provide fun and easy step by step instructions to complete the project. Participants choose their own colors to reflect their artistic style and preferences.
Pre-registration is required. There are only 8 spots available each day. Registration begins on Monday, October 12th at the Roswell Blick store.
