Blick is a sponsor of the 2009 ArtWalk in West Hartford, Connecticut. Join the West Hartford Art League to celebrate the opening of this annual event on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at the corner of LaSalle and Arapahoe Roads in West Hartford Center.
The festivities begin at 3pm with plein air painters on LaSalle Road and the SideWalk Chalk Drawing Competition, sponsored by Blick. Guests will also enjoy a performance by the Hartford Symphony Orchestra Brass Quintet beginning at 5:30pm. The official ArtWalk opening will take place at 6pm.

The Plainville store presents its June 2009 featured artist, Kelleigh Mitchell. See her work on display in the store through June 30, 2009.
Kelleigh Mitchell, an employee of the store, is a painter and printmaker. Works on display are of a variety of mediums, including intaglio, monotype, linoleum cut, lithograph, and collagraph prints. Also on display are pen and ink drawings and a large oil painting diptych.
